Why WomanSpeak Matters
For far too long, public speaking programs have fostered a masculine model of what leadership and professionalism looks and feels like. This can have a detrimental effect on the self-esteem of women and girls who desire to speak up and lead.
This sparks feelings of self doubt, a lack of valuing the wisdom within, and a resistance to speaking up. This erodes a woman’s sense of inner freedom to lead and share her mind publicly.
WomanSpeak founded by KC Baker specifically provides an alternative for women to harness the power of their feminine energy, rather than hide or deny it, as they speak up to lead and effect change. The World now more than ever needs women's voices.
Meet Megan
February 2018 in my home town - Brisbane Australia, I was drawn to attend a Women's Public Speaking workshop. This spur of the moment decision led me to a women’s circle which offered the support, education and celebration which I craved.
Immediately I knew I had found something really special and profound - A female centric program which acknowledges and empowers women, allowing them to rise to their fullest expression.
Now living in Southwest England, I hold 'in person' circles in this beautiful part of the world as well as 'online' with a focus on supporting women in the UK and Australia.
